You can now buy refurbished M4 MacBook Air directly from Apple and save up to 15%. They are available in several configurations and colors.
Apple launched its newest MacBook Air lineup in February this year.
M4 MacBook Air hits Apple’s Certified Refurbished Store
Apple now sells both 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip on its Certified Refurbished store in the U.S.
While the price of a new 13-inch MacBook Air will set you back by $999, the refurbished model is available for as low as $849. That’s a saving of $150. Admittedly, you will find a similar or even better deal on new M4 MacBook Airs on Amazon or other retailers.
However, Apple’s certified store is a better choice if you want customized high-end configurations with more RAM and storage. For example, you can get the 13-inch Air with a 10-core M4 chip, 16GB unified memory, and 2TB SSD for only $1,529. Similarly, a variant with 24GB memory and 512GB storage is listed for $1,189, down from $1,399.
MacRumors notes the 15-inch Air also hit Apple’s refurbished store, but it no longer appears in stock for now. The company restocks its refurbished store multiple times a week. So, if the configuration you want is not in stock, check back again later.
Apple recently also started selling refurbished M4 Max and M3 Ultra Mac Studio in the U.S. Refurb models of the M4 MacBook Pro and Mac mini went live on its store in February itself.
Save money by buying Apple refurb
There are several advantages to buying refurb Macs directly from Apple. For starters, they are covered by the company’s one-year standard warranty.
You can further extend this by taking AppleCare+ coverage. Plus, the company cleans and tests all Macs thoroughly before shipping them. They also ship in new, clean boxes with relevant cables and manuals. There’s just no reason not to buy Apple Certified Refurbished products.
