This scene, man. One of the most compelling scenes in a movie full of them. The music and sound, the framing, tension-building, use of intermittent slo-mo, the choice of digital effects in the end, the modern cinematic take on traditional king fu wire work fight scenes, the presence that Donnie Yen brings as a foil for Jet Li. Just gorgeous. One of my favorite Chinese movies of all time.
